Teaching Hikes

The hikes listed on this page may very well fall into one of the other categories.  However, these hikes are listed here because they are intended reveal certain elements that might not otherwise be apparent.  For example, history, geological features, forest types, and other elements that will hopefully be of interest.  Therefore, the emphasis is not on the description of the hike.  The focus is on the story to be told in the elements of the hike.
